On this very special day Mother I want to tell you
How much I appreciate all the things for me you do
And for all the times you have seen me through
Thank you for giving me a love that is forever true.

No matter the time of day for me you are always there
Ever so ready to show me how much you care
And even though at times we may not see eye to eye
My tears I know you will forever and always dry.


Ever since I was a little girl it was you I admired
And at this very moment I am very proud to say
I still look up to you even to this day
For your love continues to show me the way.

You gave my heart its very own special rhyme
That will last through out my lifetime
The perfect Mother for me God truly did send
Not only do I see you as my Mother
you are also my very best friend.



You gave my soul its very own beautiful song
A song that gives me the strength I need to
help me move right along
When life itself has me up against the wall
I know without a doubt your love will not let me fall.

A true inspiration to me you will always be
One that will forever remain a special part of me
You truly are one remarkable lady
who I am very proud of
And I thank God with every breath I take
for placing me in the arms of your love.
