An Angel heard Jesus crying one day
As he bowed his head to pray
"A baby boy will be born today
Who will need extra love in every way

Finding the right parents I must do
Ones who will help see him through
He will have his good days and his bad
One minute he will be happy then he will be sad



The parents I choose must remain very strong
And make him know in life he too does belong
I do not want them to look at him in shame
Nor do I want others to call him names

Alot of attention is what they will need to give
Through out his life He is going to have to live
His problems they may not be able to comprehend
But they need to stick with him until the very end



Their time with this boy they will have to commit
So he doesn't get frustrated and want to quit
Unconditional love is what this child will need
So in himself he will believe he too can succeed

He is going to require a lot of tender loving care
So he will know and feel that he is not a mistake
There will be times when his little heart will ache
When he views himself as being a different make



He is not going to understand why he was born this way
Within himself is where he is going to want to stay
Others will not accept him "as is"
Because of how society is today

Others will not give him the benefit of the doubt
They will only continue to shut him out
Because like other children he will not be
They will fail to see he's a creation from Me



I want to find parents who will treat him fair
And when they aren't busy time with him they will share
I want this child to know he can do what he sets his mind to
And not allow his disability to stop him from seeing anything through

Joy to this world is what he will bring
He will have his very own song to sing
And although he will dance to a different beat
His love is what will make a family complete.
