" Please don't hurt me," one girl pleas, For her life is no longer guaranteed;
Hands of evil have left their mark, She is
now locked away in the dark.
Her tears have endless flow From a love she will never know;
Fear upon her face is all she can show Having no place
to really go.

No understanding of why this has to be, Hatred and violence is all she can see.
She prays to God to help set her free, As she drops lifelessly to her knees.
Nobody around to hear her cry Fighting back no longer does she try.
A victim she has became from abuse, Her picture now displayed on the news.

Another innocent child's life taken away From abuse that happens from day to day.
When will this tradegy come to an end So in terror these children will not spend.
Children do not deserve to live like this, For their chance at life they truly do miss.
Now a child's life is gone Her story will carry on.

Beyond the sky her home Where the Angels freely roam; Placed in God's tender care
With a love that goes beyond compare.
Her heart so beautiful and kind; Her story is what was left behind.
Other children like her we will find, From the violence of mankind.

No longer shall they too feel alone, From a love they've never known.
Children are a blessing from above, That only want to be loved.
