My sweet child, if you only knew
How much your love is in my view
An Angel, so beautiful and true
My sweet child, I will always love you.

There isn't a day that goes by
That I don't look toward the sky
Feeling your presence in the air
I speak to you in a prayer.



Even though you weren't here long
In my heart you will always belong;
Your memories help me move along
Like a peaceful melody in a song.

When I feel the gentle breeze across my face
I know it is your wings holding me in an embrace;
The sun shines upon me ever so bright
It is you that I forever see in the light.



In my heart I knew the Lord had a plan for you
His reasons at times I choose not to see;
But I thank you for giving something
so wonderful to me
My own special Angel you will forever be.
