The Shuttle of Columbia fell from the sky
Hearing the news we could not help but to cry
Seven honorable souls lost their lives today
From home they were only sixteen minutes away.
The seven of them were a very brave crew
They had a mission they set out to do
Sixteen days they floated in space
With smiles and laughter upon their face.

The seven of them did not know their fate
We only pray they safely entered heavens gate
Our prayers, our love to their families we send
For their hearts now need time to mend.
Our Nation bows their head to pray
In our hearts the "seven" will stay
Together they lived out their life long dream
And God brought them home together still as a team.

Honor, bravery, courage is what they showed
When the Shuttle of Columbia left the earth
And even though they never made it home
In the heavens above is where the seven now roam.
