No matter where in life we may go
My love for you you'll always know
I will be with you inside of your heart
Our friendship will never ever fall apart.

Our friendship was special in every way
We were there for each other every day
I always thought we would be together
Nothing would ever take you away.



When you told me you had to leave
My heart couldn't help but to grieve
I felt as if I was loosing the other half of me
Even though I knew this was something
that had to be.

We were friends ever since we were small
And when it was time for us to say good-bye
That was the hardest thing I ever had to do
Because I knew I would be missing you.



Distance may now play it's part
But forever you will be in my heart
Letters to each other we will send
Time on the phone we will spend.

The best of friends we will always be
You will forever remain a part of me
Memories of us I will always think of
Because our friendship was based on
an unconditional love.
