I've spent my life living in the past
Always the one who seemed to finish last
Never thought my life would turn around
Then out of nowhere's, it is you I found.



I never thought I stood a chance at love
With everything that I have been through
I've been searching for someone like you
Someone who had a heart that was true.



You give my life meaning
In my heart I know you are truly the one
Life for me you see has finally begun
A prize I know is what I have won.



Every time I look at you I see an Angel in you
I can't help but feel as if you are to good to be true.
You see something in me that I don't even see
And I hope you know by your side I will always be.



I don't know how I got so lucky in love
But I am convinced the Lord planned it this way
And I want to say, "I really do love you"
For it was you, who helped me through.
