If only your heart knew How much it was I loved you
It would have seen that my love was true It was I who wanted to help see you through.
As the days and the nights pass me by I can't seem to shake these feelings
I have etched within my very soul That once made me feel like I was whole.

The tears are now never ending With a love my heart has lost
Your love was my heartbeat, it kept me alive Without you I'm lost and can't survive.
When will this longing come to an end So my heart can find the strength to mend
No mere words can express the way I feel Since what I thought was not really real.

The music that once played I no longer hear Since love has caused my heart to tear
And now to love another is my greatest fear When all I ever wanted was to feel you near.
If only your heart knew How much it was I loved you It would have seen that my love was true
It is I who wanted to be with you.
