When I think about how we met
I truly believe you were a God send
You'll be someone I will never forget
I am very proud to have you as a friend

Your heart to me you did extend
Time with me you did spend
Right then and there I knew
I was blessed with a true friend



Even though we live far apart
You managed to touch my heart
In ways I never thought it could be
From the very start you were there for me

When life itself had me feeling sad
You pointed out the good and not the bad
You got me to see things in a different light
And appreciate the things I truly had



When my heart was full of nothing but pain
By my side is where you remained
You took the time to listen to me
And my hurt you always tried to see

I just want to say thank you
For the friendship you've given to me
In my heart I know God sent you my way
Forever in my heart is where you will stay.
