I wish I had a Mother
So I wouldn't feel so bad
To dry my tears and love me
So my life won't be so sad

I wish my life was happy
With a place to call my own
A family who would love me
Give me a loving home.

A child without a Mother
Is lost beyond compare
The one that gave me my life
With her I'd like to share.

No one can really ever know
Feel as lonely and as blue
Unless you long for your Mother
The same way that I do.
