I want to say thank you For all you did for me The death and destruction That your eyes could only see. You worked as God's special physician Helping the hurt, mourning the deceased Your burden never ended Each day it only increased. Never a complaint, expecting nothing Just doing your job as you say But know how very appreciated You are each and every day. You may never get your reward on earth But God has a plan for you We are so very thankful For everything you do. Never one day passes That your courage is not on our mind For God's special and loving physician Like you is one of a kind. Wayne is married with a wonderful wife and two sons and has been in the Air Force for 16 years, serving in the medical field. Wayne recently returned from a tour in Iraq. The hospital in Balad is where Wayne tended to many of our soldiers, locals and insurgents. Wayne is very dedicated to his job, wont take any recognition for all he has done, he says "I was just doing my job" and " the real hero's are the wounded and those who gave the ultimate, their lives". This candle burns in gratitude and memory of Wayne and all armed services personnel who give their all to keep our countries safe and free. Many have paid the ultimate sacrifice, many have suffered horrific injuries, both of mind and body. Please send your thoughts and prayers to Wayne and all service personnel and families for a speedy end to this war and a safe return home
