What makes a special father
Compassion, trust and love
He is a very special gift
Sent from heaven above.

When they made you Daddy
They threw the pattern away
Because you are loved an awful lot
Today and every day.

Hope you have a great day Dad
I ask the Lord above
To bless you and keep you
In the presence of his love

This is your day my precious Dad
And I would like to say
Kick back and rest, enjoy yourself
This Special Father's Day.

You have nurtured me and cared for me
You made me what I am today
And did it with a lot of love
Showed it in every way.

I may not be your blood child
But to me you are my Dad
For those who don't know you
I truly do feel sad.

You illuminate so much compassion
The love that you freely give
I'll never be able to repay you
As long as I may live.

I just had to let you know
These feelings I've always had
I wish you a wonderful Father's Day
To someone who is like my Dad.

Just want to say I love you
More than words can say
Your love is like a beacon
On a cloudy, rainy day.

You have always done your best
To be a loving Dad
Not only are you my Daddy
But the best friend I ever had.

You wiped my nose and dried my eyes
Whenever my days were blue
Don't think I could have made it
If it hadn't been for you.

It's a special time to let you know
You are the best by far
And I can say without a doubt
You are my Shinning Star.

Father's day is here again
Once more I'd like to say
How much I really love you
Today and every day.

I hope your day is special
From morning until night
With lot's of love and attention
And everything just right.

It only comes once a year
But this I have to say
This day was made just for you
You are our King today.

So live it up and have your fun
You deserve it more than you know
I send this card to you today
For Dad I love you so.

As your special day approaches
Thinking of you so far away
It will be so very lonely
Without you on Father's Day.

Please don't misunderstand my dear
I miss you all the time
But Father's day is special
Worry and sadness is all I find.

Just know you will be in my heart
Where ever you may go
Because my dearest darling
You know I love you so.

Know we at home think of you
Ask God from up above
To keep you safe within his arms
And shower you with love.
