Walk with me on the mountain
Where the snow peaks the top so white
Walk with me in the valley
Where the darkness shrouds the light.

Hold my hand when I falter
Let me walk in the print of your feet
Stay with me as I travel
Please dry my tears as I weep.

Teach me the things I need to know
Show me how to pray
Let me be meek in my actions
Make me humble every day.

I love you Jesus, yes I do
Watch over me from above
My life hereafter belongs to you
Lord Jesus I give you my love.

A visit to my attic
Brought memories dear to me
Hiding in a corner
A brown trunk I could see.

I opened it so carefully
I couldn't help but cry
The loveliest things you've ever seen
Treasures from years gone by

A china doll so fragile
Jewellery in a satin case
Dresses oh so beautiful
Soft wool all trimmed in lace.

A picture of my Mother
Recipes written on a pad
Shaving cup and brush wrapped up
Belonging to my Dad.

Yet the most precious thing I found
More valuable than silver or gold
Tattered and worn from years of use
It had to be very old.

It was our family bible
Wrapped in tissue yellowed from age
Something I'll always cherish
As I viewed the tattered page.

Words are plainly visible
They came from our Lord above
I'll covet my family bible
And cherish it with love.

My aspirations glorify
The galaxy way up high
Sparkling stars at midnight
In the darkness of the sky.

I dream you are beside me
Oh, how I love you so
I say a prayer to God above
To somehow let you know.

I think of you at this time
The loneliness seeps within
While curled up by the window
In the quietness of our den.

The last time we said our good-byes
Seems like a century ago
We thought you'd be back home real soon
So little did we know.

Where are you tonight my dear one?
Shrouded in danger and fear
I pray for your safe return
My darling I want you right here.

I dread a knock upon my door
Or hear the telephone ring
An unusual letter in the mail
Fearing what these things will bring.

I ask God to watch over you
From his home up in the sky
I sit here waiting with love and fear
As the lonely night passes by

These words are for my family
I've ascended into the city of love
God led me through the golden gates
Surrounding His home up above.

Shed not one tear my dearest one
Please do not cry for me
For I am with you in spirit
Yet in Heaven where I wanted to be.

I am very happy
No more pain and no more fear
I'll wait for you until the roll is called
Up yonder and I'll be there.

My time on earth was precious
I am where He wanted me to be
I am now with my Lord and Savior
Into thine hands I come to Thee.

If I could just go back in time
So much more I would do
I would be a fairy princess
And I'd spin some gold for you.

I'd climb the highest mountain
And scan the tallest tree
All the ice cream in the world
Wouldn't be enough for me.

I would shop until I dropped
And give it all away
Skate and ski, dance and jog
Just have a real fun day.

I would go to church and pray a lot
For other's not just myself
And wish that everyone I met
Would be rich with all my wealth.

I'm not speaking about money
But all the things I could do
I wouldn't waste a moment
I'd share it all with you.

But alas it is much too late
To travel back in time
I'll make the most of what I have
For what I have is mine.

Don't falter when you walk with Christ
The path is there for you
Follow the glow of everlasting life
That is what He wants you to do.

Each step brings you a little closer
To redemption beyond compare
It will change your life completely
All your sins He can repair.

Life will take a different pattern
Joy will fill your heart
Once you accept Jesus in your life
You will never be apart.

He will always be with you
Talk with Him every day
For He will never desert you
In your heart He will always stay.

Days of time has passed me by
My life is now complete
My precious Savior awaits me
It's time for us to meet.

My whole life I've waited for this day
To walk with Him in love
And know at last I'm on the right path
To my Heavenly home above.

I see the beauty of Heaven
Such beauty is beyond compare
I cannot describe the glorious sight
To view, you must be there.

Don't be afraid of dying
Where we go there's no pain or fear
Just ask our Lord for guidance
Your voice He will always hear.

I can tell you this much
The glow there is brighter than sun
The grass is greener, the flowers are sweeter
You'll be best friends with everyone.

So please don't fear the hereafter
Your eternal life will be there
The peace and love will surround you
He will honor all with love and care.
