~~ For My Friend Judy ~~

I was an admirer, long before we were friends
Such beauty you majestically performed
Like a childs nose pressed to the window
Of a candy store in the brink of a storm.

I wanted so much to be a part
Of the wonderful view that I saw
But my confidence was never strong enough
To pursue to venture too far.

Then one day I became a warrior
I boldly pursued my desire
You kindly accepted me in your fold
Even though I was petrified.

I never thought I was good enough
To compete with the others to me
Were far, far more superior
Than I could ever be.

Yet you took me under your kindly wing
And published a bit of my stuff
The competition's is very apparent
Sometimes I got in a huff.

But then I think, "what the heck"
We all have our own little quirks
But every time you publish mine
To me it is a fantastic perk.

So what I am really trying to say
Thank you for you support and love
I ask God to bless you my dear
From his heavenly home above.

~~ Tear Drops ~~

Have you ever been so lonely
That the joy of living stops
The only way to wash your soul
Is through your own teardrops

Have you ever felt the burden
Was just too much to bare
You may not have too many friends
Your family doesn't care.

You shouldn't feel that way at all
What I say is true
There is a higher Power
That truly cares for you.

His name is easy to remember
He lives with the stars above
It's Jesus, precious Jesus
His heart is full of love.

So you are never really alone
He is the only one I know
Who would lay down his life for you
Because he loves you so.

So if you must shed your tears
Let it be for Jesus today
His smiling face you may not see
Yet He'll be in your heart to stay.

~~ He Touched Me ~~

My days so full of rush and go
So much to do and see
Until my Lord put a song in my heart
And that's when he touched me.

So wonderful since the day he came
Knocking at my door
I was destitute and lonely
I'm not that way anymore.

I'll never have much money
Fancy cars or high class clothes
I'll have his love surrounding me
This is a path I chose.

He touched me in so many ways
So much I want to give
Until I pass from this old earth
Then Heaven is where I'll live.

He is waiting to touch you my friend
And he wants you to know
He is never far away from you
No matter where you go.

~~ My Special Friend ~~
 

Spring is here so please enjoy
The warm sunshine above
And know a friend thinks of you
With joy and so much love.

We may not see each other
But that's OK you see
I don't care what your face look like
You're still a friend to me.

When I get sad or lonely
I know just what to do
Its you my friend, you're always there
I always turn to you.

That's why I say enjoy this day
God shares from up above
And know I'm with you always
In friendship full of love.

~~ No Time For Tears ~~

I have no time for worry and no time for fears
No time to think bad thoughts and no time for tears.

I try to think positive in all that I do
No time to be hateful or time to be blue.

I am tired of feeling sorry for myself every day
I'm changing my tune and changing my way.

Life is too short to just sit around and cry
While others are happy life passes you by.

I've turned over a new leaf, it's time for me to be
Happy and helpful like other's I see.

So if you're unhappy a silver lining you can't see
Just change your tune like I did for me.

~~ Do Not Weep ~~

When I die and my grave you see
Please, for me do not weep
It is only where you place your comfort
Because there I do not sleep.

See me in the stars at night
Or in the moon that glows so bright
I am with you always
Even the darkness of the night.

I am there when you see a butterfly
When rain or snow shadows the earth
I am there when birds nest in the trees
Awaiting their baby's birth.

So go to my grave if you have the need
Or flowers you want to share
There's a place in Heaven where I live
At my grave I will not be there.

~~ For A Special Mom and Dad ~~

Mom and Dad this is for you
No easy task I say
For all the care, love and support
You give your child each day.

Thank you for all your sacrifices
Yet keep a loving smile
We all know the pitfalls of parenthood
Give the children an inch they take a mile.

If you inspire a loving family
Work hard to show your love
Help will come ten folds to you
From our Father up above.

We ask God above to guide you
Your job is never done
The way you raise your children
Will result in the adults they become.

So thank you Mom and thank you Dad
For all the things you do
And please remember just one thing
I will always love you.

~~ Beautiful Friendship ~~

We should always be happy
We are blessed with many things
The rainbow in the spring time
The sun a new day brings

The rain showers in the summer
That makes the flowers grow
Tiny blue birds singing
Everywhere we go.

This time of year brings so much joy
And another thing special too
Is having a beautiful friendship
Like the one I have with you.

I send this card to you today
I don't say it often you see
I'm grateful for your friendship
It means everything to me.

When you meet someone so dear and sweet
You know right from the start
It is an angel God has sent
With the glow of a loving heart.

You never have to say one word
Yet we have a common tie
That grows with love and caring
As months and years go by.

God gives us friends to cherish
What a sad time this would be
If I didn't have someone like you
To be a friend to me.

I send this message to you today
To let you know impart
You hold a very special place
Tucked deep within my heart.
