Love Of The
Land
~~

As I sit upon the hillside in seclusion
Watching the scene in reverence below
A tribe so special and so unique
Cease activity in the after glow.
Their chores complete for another day
Time to settle down for the night
The lonely sound of a tom tom
Gives this picture a solemn sight.
The tribe is active from morn until night
Children playing to and fro
Squaws weaving, braves hunting together
Warriors busy on the go.
What an interesting culture
To be shared by everyone
Give our love and understanding
Rest in peace when day is done.
Birds of courage, eagles sore
Above the night covered sky
Solitude and reverence
Honor is the native cry.

~~ Saved ~~

I want to say thank you
To those I hold so dear
Who stood by me and helped me
Through my time of stress and fear.
My faith in God was tested
Prayer silent on my lips
A vision appeared before me
A miraculous eclipse.
My pain just seemed to leave me
As the great physician toiled
And my time of great acquisition
Seemed to suddenly unfold.
Hallelujah to my savior
Valley of death has passed me by
I no longer walk in shadows
Hail to Jesus is my cry.

~~ Angel
Footsteps ~~

As I sit in solitude quietness all around
I hear the tiny foot steps a soft and gentle sound.
The silence hardly hindered by the flutter of little wings
Soft melodious voices in harmony they sing.
We came to watch over you and do not wish you harm
Mesmerized by their presence as I sit there in the calm.
They sprinkled the room with star dust, particles sparkling in the air
Busy with their loving work I could not help but stare.
Fragrances of lilacs surrounds the room serene
Cutest little angels that I have ever seen.
Do you believe in angels one thing I know, I do
They are comforting and loving and its true, they watch over you.

~~ Dreams
Do Come True ~~

I know you're sad and lonely
Unhappy and so blue,
Please just remember
Dreams really do come true.
If you find life boring
And don't know what to do
Just look around, wipe off that frown
Dreams really do come true.
There are many people
Who want to be your friend
So put a happy face on
And let the fun begin.
Life is what you make it
Good fortune will come to you
Just take a chance and you will see
Dreams really do come true.

Thinking Of You My Child ~~

If I had my life to live over
I would spend more time with you
Baking cookies, reading books
So much for us to do.
I'd love to take you in my arms
Rock and Sing tis true
Embrace you til the sun comes up
That's what I'd like to do.
Walk with you hand in hand
And run through fresh cut grass
Listen to your stories dear
Alas those day's are past.
Now that you are grown and gone
The memories mine to keep
I'll hold them closest to my heart
Until I fall asleep.
Then I will dream about the days
So long ago has past
Of all the love and joy we shared
The memories will always last

Twilight Without You ~~

The orange sky of twilight draws the beauty of the day
As loving thoughts go through my mind of things I'd
like to say.
I'm sitting here all alone we are a world apart
You are my one and only love I hold you in my heart.
Hurry home to me my love, hurry home to stay
I think of you at sundown and the start of everyday.
I say a prayer at twilight and another prayer at dawn
It has been so very lonely ever since you have been
gone.
The stars are shining brightly now they sparkle up
above
I ask our Lord to be with you and wrap you in his
love.
