I am a poor lost sinner I need your help today,
If I cried an ocean, my sin's would with me stay;
I long for love I'll never see, love has passed me by,
My life was never worth the tears, that I could ever cry.

If I could wash away the shame and start my life anew,
There are oh so many things that I would never do;
Help me, someone help me live a better life,
Take me from the filth I know, the fear and the strife.

God, I've never been your child but how I need you now,
I will try to follow you, if you will show me how;
Make me your disciple, I will see this through,
If you will just forgive me, I know I'll always love you.

~~ The Invitation ~~
 

Dear Lord I'm just a little child
I just don't understand,
The war and all the bad stuff
Please help me if you can.

I want to grow up happy
My family close to me,
But all this hate and worry
Is hard for me you see.

So hear my prayer and answer soon
I'll wait for you Okay?
Just come and visit anytime
I hope it is today.

There was a time we were in love
Those day's have passed us by,
All the good times that we shared
I remember with a sigh.

The years grow older and so do we
Mistakes we made are past,
The love we shared I cherish
And the memories oh so vast.

We tried so hard to make it work
It wasn't meant to be,
You'll always have part of my heart
You mean the world to me.

We have made a separate life
Loving thoughts are all mine,
I will always remember you
If only "For The Good Times."

~~ Safe In The Arms Of Jesus ~~

Safe in the arms of Jesus
That's where I want to stay,
Close by his side forever
Walk with him every day.

Never a doubt nor a fear
Whenever I am with thee,
Loving care surrounding me
And that's where I want to be.

Wrapped in the arms of Jesus
His tenderness is abound,
Close by my side he'll always be
A friend in him I have found.

He will never leave me
This I no for sure,
Safe in the arms of Jesus
I'll be forever more.

~~ Pocket Angel ~~

I have an angel in my pocket
It goes everywhere with me
It keeps me happy all day long
The way I want to be.

Angel in my pocket
Cheers me when I'm blue
Makes me have happy thoughts
That's when I think of you.

I use to be so alone
My angel came to stay
The angel in my pocket
Is with me every day.

If you need a friend for comfort
Just ask and you may find
An angel in your pocket
Like the one I have in mine.

~~ Child's Prayer ~~



Dear Jesus I'm just a little child
I don't know how to pray
Cept now I lay me down to sleep
Don't know what else to say

Guess I could say bless Mommy
And bless my Daddy too
And all the little children
Who were never told of you

Bless my pets and all my toys
And if you have the time
Bless everyone in the world
They all are friends of mine

I don't know what else to say
My knees are getting weak
So if you wont mind Jesus
I think I'll go to sleep.

~~ The Path To Heaven ~~
 

Come to me my children rest your weary head
I've a story to tell you one you've never read.
Let us walk the garden path and have a private talk
We will stop along the way and pray there in the dark.

I just want you to know my child how much I care for you
If you listen carefully you'll know just what to do.
Live a life of sin free love for all those that you greet
Give your heart to Jesus a feat you'll have to meet.

Love thy neighbor as thy self the Ten Commandments say
If you live by their law within your heart they will stay.
I prepare a place for you in my heavenly home above
If you live a Christian life I'll meet you there with love.

Pray a prayer to me each day let me know your need
I will watch over you just follow where I lead.
God Bless you child of God I say repent, live by my word.
Pick up your staff and follow me and join my faithful herd.
