I was lost, deep in despair
And then you came to me
A perfect baby so small and sweet
Precious as you could be.
I wanted only the best for you
Something I could not give
I had to release you to someone else
So a good life you could live.
Never a day goes by my son
That I don't think of you
I want to see your precious face
Yet know not what to do.
Restrictions enforced broke my heart
It wasn't meant to be that way
Visitation had been agreed on
Yet they made me stay away.
I never knew who took you
Or if you were healthy and well
If only I could see you
My story to you I could tell.
I pray to God every day
To bring you back to me
If only for a short time
So your face that I might see.
Please know how much I miss you
My heart is breaking in two
I'll pray and keep on searching
Until one day I'll be with you.
I love you Christian, my precious son
From the very depth of my heart
Someday we will be together
Never more to be apart.
Happy Birthday Christian
I Love You So
Mommy 23rd July 2005

This poem was written by Ginny Bryant especially for Jennifer,
loving birth mother to Christian.

When Christian was just 1 month old, Jennifer made a
heartbreaking decision to give her precious son Christian
up for adoption. Due to personal circumstances Jennifer was unable
to care for her son Christian or able to provide a loving home and
the necessities to sustain a happy and stable life for him.
There are many women, like Jennifer who made such a decision
and like Jennifer, never a day goes by that they don't
think of their birth child and long to hold
them in their arms and tell them how much
they are loved and missed.
