I was not ready when God called your name
I loved you both so very much, today I love you the same.

You left so many memories.... your love still lingers near
And though I cannot touch you, your faces are so clear.

My heart broke when I lost you.... you did not go alone
Part of me went with you, when He gently called you home.

Now the chain is broken, things will never be the same
Yet when we're called one by one, that chain will link again.

If sorrow could build a stairway, or our love could build a road
I'd come to Heaven to get you and ease my heavy load.

God has plans for each of us.... not knowing where or when
He will send his Heavenly angel to carry me home with Him.

So meet me on that path of love, the chain will be mended then
We can rejoice in happiness.... for we'll all be together again.

My dearest Melody and Samone, your presence I feel close by
I hold you deep within my heart ....

You live, you did not die.
